Control the movie - what did the fans think?

i watched it after promising not to. As a big JD fan, i convinced myself that i didnt need to watch the film as i already knew the whole tragic story of ian curtis from reading touching from a distance many time over the past 10 years. however, i am also a big fan of anton corbijn and could not help myself. i didnt really enjoy watching it to be honest, it lacked the depth and sincerity that i always think of when i think of jd/ian curtis - i guess there are some stories you should leave well alone. i would be interested in what other jd fans think
