If we try the 9-11 terrorist in the US in a non military court do we risk having another OJ verdict?

And what I mean by another OJ verdict is simply when someone who is OBVIOUSLY guilty gets off scott free. I mean honestly we give hardened criminals so many rights that when someone commits a crime they have a really good chance of getting off on some bullshit technicality. Do we really want to risk the lives of more innocent people if these extremist wing nuts want to try and set those s shots free? Or do we want to deal with the backlash of they are found not guilty?
