Ex keeps texting me? Help?

hi my ex girlfriend and I were together for around a year, but she started treating me like crap so we broke up. it's been about 3 months since we've broken up and now she texts me or IMs me a lot. Telling me random things to start a convo, I'm not sure if I like talking to her. Why is she texting and IMing me so much? Please help
