Is $50 for a dress expensive?

It just depends on what the occasion is. If you consider the "Kentucky Derby" an important occasion, then a 50 dollar dress is appropriate for the occasion. At my dad's funeral I could have bought any suit. But i chose a 500 dollar suit. Once again it just depends on the occasion I hope that this helps........
