I can name two: Lee Stroebel (author of The Case for Faith, and other similar books), and Francis Collins, of the Human Genome Project. Collins, at least, should know better; he's a professional scientist. His book does not reveal how his scientific ytical skills failed him when it came to religion; he got his theology from C S Lews, who got it from Immanuel Kant, who got it wrong.
