The reason it is knocking you off is because someone is exploiting your client through a buffer / heap overflow or SEH overwrite etc. If you turn DEP off you are going to get pwnt, although DEP wont save you anyways in many cases where it can be easily byped. If you use internet explorer, get firefox.
